Our Findings
Microfinance Institutions Are Bleeding Money to a Growing Technology Gap.
We surveyed 33 of the largest microfinance institutions in Bangladesh, interviewed 56 branch managers, and spent over a year embedded within an industry leader.
We had a line of 40 people outside the branch for morning disbursements. The system just froze. We couldn’t post a single transaction for two hours. It’s not just a delay; it’s a loss of trust.

Legacy architectures handle baseline traffic but buckle under concurrent, high-volume requests during critical closing periods.
